UN carbon market opens door to clean cooking projects, grants downward adjustment exemption

Clean cooking projects can now generate credits under the Paris Agreement Crediting Mechanism (PACM) after the UN body overseeing the market adopted two methodologies for household cooking activities, including an exemption from a key mechanism-wide safeguard for some projects.
